Gallon of Gas vs. MBTA: Which is cheaper for the distance?
The aim of this project is to map the distance that a car can travel on a gallon of gas. The user can then overlay the Massachusetts MBTA layer upon that distance to compare if taking the T ($2 per trip) would be cheaper than taking the car ($4 per gallon in the summer of 2008).
Although the project is a work in progress, the course was an excellent introduction to the ESRI Arc Object Model, and programming in the VBA interface.
